The service

Colorcast is a desktop application and hosted service that generates AI commentary for your gameplay. By installing or using it you agree to these terms and the acceptable use policy.

Plans and billing

Paid plans are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record; Paddle's checkout terms apply to the purchase and Paddle issues your receipt and handles tax. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Narrated-hour allowances reset each billing month and do not roll over; hour packs do not expire. See the refund policy.

Your content

Lines the service generates for you are yours to use in your streams, videos and clips, including commercially. Persona sheets you write are yours. We claim no rights in your gameplay.

Our content

The bundled personas, voices and software are licensed, not sold, for your use with Colorcast. You may not extract the voices for use outside the app or resell hosted access.

AI output

Commentary is generated by AI and may be wrong, odd or inappropriate for your audience. You choose which personas run and are responsible for what you broadcast. The overlay badge identifying AI narration is on by default and required on the Free plan.

Studio plan and third-party keys

With your own API keys, your use of each provider is governed by that provider's terms and billed by them. Keys are stored in your operating system's keychain and never sent to us.

Availability and changes

Early-access software changes often and the hosted service may have downtime. We may change plans and prices with 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period already paid.

Termination

You can stop using Colorcast and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break the acceptable use policy or abuse the service.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA (replace with your LLC's state), and disputes go to its courts. Contact: legal@colorcast.live.
